Sheryl Underwood is an American actress as well as a comedian and TV host famous for her part as the Talk's co-host for daytime. Sheryl Underwood was a native of Arkansas and has been raised at Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl has a troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her childhood helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. Growing up, she faced many difficulties with her mother. Sheryl claims that in the past, her mother would stab her father over the head because she was having a relationship with her. Following her college graduation Sheryl was a soldier in the military. The area of interest she was most interested in was comedy. She was the first female finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV profession began in the year 1992, as an actor on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the television program Oh Drama! In 2011, she began appearing as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. She also has portrayed fictional characters in shows such as Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth and Beauty Shop.
